Facade facing
Searching for the new solutions is a motive force for development. Nowadays for every project, irrespective of its functional purpose, the architects try to choose a special solution and particular style. However the undertime or material properties not always allow realizing complicated projects.
Aluminum composite panels have established a perfect reputation for application on the facades of the buildings. They possess perfect decorative, strength and heat-insulating properties, are characterized by long-term reliability and are rather efficient. The simplicity of the technological treatment of the ACP and producing the facing cassettes as well as a quick mounting ensured attractiveness of this material for building companies. The weighty advantage of this material is its universality. The composite panels are quickly mounted and don’t impose great load for the bearing walls. High retention of the PVDF coating, rigidity and durability of the aluminum composite panels provide the possibility to use them in different architectural solutions. The facade faced with ACP ECOBOND® doesn’t require renovation and doesn’t lose its running ability under the influence of the sunlight, precipitation, airborne dust, acids and salt suspensions. The combination of these properties singled out the aluminum composite panels into one of the best materials for mounted ventilated facades of the buildings and facing of different constructions.
For long-term facing of the buildings, fuel stations and transport means the manufacturer developed a special building version of the panels ECOBOND®PLUS. The panels of this trademark are of 4 and 5mm. The thickness of the aluminum coating sheets is 0.3, 0.4 or 0.5mm. The panels with 0.3mm aluminum are assigned for the facing of the buildings with the height up to 16m. by maximum wind force 85kg/m2, the panels with 0.4mm aluminum - for the buildings up to 35m (9 stories ), 114kg/m2. For the high-rise buildings it is recommended to use composite panels with ruggedness and covering aluminum sheets of 0.5mm.
The facial coating of ACP ECOBOND®PLUS consists of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). Such coating is one of the most reliable and chemically stable. Thanks to application of advanced manufacturing of the coating KYNAR 500 on the PVDF base the synthetic paint, spread on the panel, possesses strong adhesion, high heat-resistance and resistance to discoloring under ultraviolet influence. The application of the advanced technologies in panels painting allows prolonging the life time of the panels ECOBOND®PLUS up to 25 years without any noticeable color loss or color saturation. The panels of this series possess self-cleaning properties, that’s why there is no need to clean them during first exploitation years. After cleaning with the help of the water jet under pressure they look like new ones.
Fire-prevention version of the ACP ECOBOND®PLUS FR is a fire resistance material that often used for industrial buildings facing, especially when the requirements to material fire-resistance are higher. According to the certificate renewed in 2007, these panels belong to G1 (fire-resistant) (State Standard 30244-94). Under fire impact the panels don’t flame, don’t make burning drops and there is no flame spreading on the surface.
Fire-resistant ACP of the ECOBOND®PLUS FR series are used in the interior trimming of the passenger and luggage compartments of the public transport means: interurban buses, carriages of the passenger trains and subways, launches, yachts and ships. The panels ECOBOND®PLUS FR with PVDF coating possess the heightened endurance and chemical resistance to many organic substances, dissolvents and weak acids. It determines high level of their exploitation characteristics. They sustain long-term period of exploitation with minimum expenses for service and maintenance of the surface cleanness.
